My Teacher
Polly Goss is my art teacher, and in the year and a half that I have
been working with her, I have grown artistically in ways I never
would have imagined. Polly has been painting for many decades, and
her realistic watercolors have won prizes and decorate many homes. I
enjoy our time together and wish to thank her for everything she has
shown me and for what she teaches me on Wednesday morning every
week. Her wisdom is incomparable.
Artist Michael Brown, formerly of New York City and now living in
Scarborough, is a friend and mentor. Michael has shown me the larger
and highly competitive world of professional art. I value his
opinions and try to live up to his very high standards. When not
talking about art, we laugh a lot about politics. Michael is an
amazing artist and he and his wife Carol are good friends.
