Cherries, full and sweet. I found by painting these cherries that I
want to paint more fruits and vegetables. I see blueberries,
raspberries, pomegranates, and Brussel sprouts in baskets in my future.
In this painting I enjoyed deepening the darkest parts of the
cherries and leaving white to give a slightly frosty appearance.
Working on the shadows was instructive, too.
