The State of Maine is a powerful place to live. The distinct
seasons show up in vivid color, making it heavenly for artists. From
the crashing waves of the Atlantic Ocean to the pastoral landscapes
of the interior, Maine is truly a year-round adventure.
A cup of coffee, a window and a gentle breeze. This quaint
espresso cup is from one of my favorite places in the world. It was given
to me by my friends and traveling companions Jennie and Felicia Kasa.
We have spent many hours sipping coffee and eating Napoleans at the
sidewalk cafe of Cafe de la Paix in Paris. The Cafe is the epitome of
Parisienne life. One can imagine Satre, Moliere or Monet drinking
strong espresso and gazing absently across the plaza at the gold dome
of the Paris Opera.
